The underside of furniture can also be treated safely with steam.
When using a steam appliance to eradicate bedbugs and also should be a wide one in order to effectively kill the bugs. With a smaller nozzle a small area is heated and can give warning to the bedbugs nearby so that they scatter to another area before being killed. It is also important to use as high at temperature as possible and as is safe for the material or fabric.
