Things to LOVE
I’m always reminded of all that I love in February. People, places, things, and all forms that the love comes in. All society would eventually become very dreary without the reminder of love. With that said, I give you a peek at things that would be very deserving of our love.
Forgive my indulgences, you’ll have to remember that I live in a college town and am married to a college student. The first item I love, then, is pizza, naturally. But, you have to understand that this is no ordinary pizza that I love.
No, it’s Craigo’s five dollar pizza with buffalo wing sauce. The sauce makes all the difference. After trying their buffalo wing sauce instead of the tedious marinara, I will never eat a regular pizza again.
I am a pretty regular mom, wife, and clean-freak, always looking for the cleaning supplies that will make my life cleaner, faster, and easier. Recently I fell in love with a dishwasher tablet by Electrosol. I can’t wait to start the dishwasher to get my dishes so easily clean with an overpowering aroma throughout the whole kitchen of cleanliness.
Luckily with February in the middle of winter, I am especially in love with my boots. Regardless of the situation, boots have been designed to accommodate your needs. Waterproof, yet furry Staheekum snow boots; brown, knee-high, genuine leather dress boots, and Gap’s cozy, knit slipper boots keep not only my feet but also my legs warm and dry. I don’t fret a forecast of snow, because I’ll look fabulous anyway.
Romance is completely revived to every Jane Austen fan with the newest BBC creation, Emma. I love BBC anyway, and they have outdone their prestigious dramatic abilities with an adaptation so witty, fun and sensuous, February wouldn’t be complete without it. Buy it online or tune into Masterpiece Theater to watch the series premiere.
Speaking of online shopping, I love finding the perfect gift while I’m sitting on the couch with my laptop. In our world, treading the mall for hours is over. Anything you would ever want to buy is at your fingertips, literally. Whether you want a sewing needle, wool socks, a rosebush or an acre of beautiful land.
Now, my dearest love is no doubt in the bedroom — the flannel sheets tucked in my bed. Forget silk, satin, or Egyptian cotton, and curl up in bed the way the sandman intended. Be prepared for worlds that can only be dreamed of while wrapped in flannel softness as you sleep.
The way to feel love is to share it, which is why I’m telling you my favorites. It would be so fulfilling for me to find you love these items as much as I do, but even moreso the love needs to come from what you find irresistible. St. Valentine himself would want nothing more for you than to find what you love and be loved in return.
